What happens next?

What happens after my initial appointment?

• I send your prescriptions electronically to the Pharmacy that we discussed (see below).

• I do not use paper prescriptions it is all electronic.

• I will apply for your SAS B approvals with the TGA

• Once I have these back, usually within 24 – 48 hours, I send these off to the Pharmacy that we discussed via email.  I will copy you on this email so you will know when this happens

Ring your nominated Pharmacy when you need to re-order.  Please allow a week if your cannabis is posted to you

When do I see you again?

I like to follow up around the 3 – 4 week mark.  We usually book this together during your initial appointment.   If this was overlooked, please go to Appointments and book a bulk billed review. After that – the frequency is individualised.  Some patients have more complex problems and require closer follow up, or if you are not familiar with cannabis I usually keep an eye on you as you find your feet. 

Long term patients

If everything is going well for you, I like to catch up once every 6 months. Go to Appointments to book
